• The Visteo Sensor, first wireless sensor, allows the practitioner to enter a new world of innovation.
Owandy, the French dental imaging solutions manufacturer,
well-known in the world of software, has launched an innovative
sensor. A genuine revolution in the field of imaging, this sensor
is the first on the market whose transmission system is by
induction. Totally simplifying dental radiography, this sensor
removes positioning constraints and gives the practitioner a
hitherto unequalled quality of diagnosis.

A system patented by Owandy, transmission by induction consists
of the instantaneous transfer of the signal. This new
technology fully meets the needs of practitioners by affording them
security of diagnosis altogether with remarkable positioning
assistance.
Better-quality images and greater working comfort for the
practitioner, those are some factors helping improving the quality
of care. Integration of the angulator in the Visteo system enabling
the number of images to be reduced while increasing their quality
and improving diagnosis, that is a shared trust.

Induction also enables greater safety both for the sensor and
for the practitioner. In fact, there is now no risk of pulling the
cable out or even of the restrictions related to asepsis since
Visteo is watertight and can, therefore, be plunged into a
decontamination bath.
The Visteo control box is light and compact, and can follow the
dentist from chair to chair or even be used by several
practitioners in the same clinic.
Its sensors include the CMOS technology and are available in two
sizes, size 1 and size 2. Finally, it is compatible with the new
QuickVision software and runs under XPSP2 and Vista.
Visteo is therefore the first intra-oral sensor to combine freedom
of movement with diagnostic precision and quality of care, and it
does so in complete safety.
